Cookie Policy

Version 1

Essential cookies

newsdesk_session supports sessions, forms, CSRF and login. It uses HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, Secure on HTTPS and a browser-session lifetime. Authenticated sessions expire after 2 hours of inactivity. zvistka_consent stores the policy version and category choices for up to 180 days, without an advertising identifier.

Local preferences

zvistka_theme in localStorage stores light, dark or system until you clear it in your browser. New visitors get the light theme. Editors also have account settings for their theme and simple/advanced mode. These are functional preferences, not tracking.

What does not set tracking cookies

Server analytics, built-in ad cards, editorial news preparation, Search Console imports and server-side social posting do not themselves set reader tracking cookies. This version has no connected optional browser tracking services, so controls for future categories are not shown.

Managing your choice

Accepting, rejecting and saving preferences close the banner and keep you on your current page. Closing it with the cross does not save consent. You can reopen preferences in the footer; forms also work without JavaScript. Changing the Cookie Policy version asks for a new choice. Cookies and localStorage can also be cleared in browser settings.

ZVISTKA Radio

After you press Play, your browser connects directly to the radio station’s server. The station provider receives normal network request data, including your IP address and browser information, under its own policy. ZVISTKA does not record, proxy or store audio. Favourites, volume and the last 10 stations stay locally in your browser, without an advertising profile. An external logo, if configured, is also loaded directly from its server.
