About this policy
This policy explains how the ZVISTKA website processes data when you read news or use its available features. It applies to this website. Links to other services lead to their own policies.
Technical requests and security
During a connection, the server and network providers receive the IP address, request address, time and technical browser information. Access logs, abuse prevention and audit records help keep the site running and investigate errors. They do not form an advertising profile.
Cookies and preferences
An essential session supports forms, CSRF protection and login. Your cookie choice is stored separately. Theme preferences are stored locally in your browser. Names, durations and controls are explained in the Cookie Policy.
Accounts
Editorial login stores a name, email, role, account status and password hash. Login and audit records are used for access management and security. Readers who only browse news do not need an editorial account.
Visit analytics
Enabled analytics runs on the server without tracking cookies. It records the page, time, language, device class and traffic classification. If approximate unique counts are enabled, the IP is converted to a daily HMAC with a separate key; the raw IP is not stored in the analytics table. This is an estimate, not identification of a person. DNT/GPC requests are excluded; bots and editorial sessions are excluded according to settings.
Traffic sources
UTM parameters and the referring domain help identify traffic channels. Our UTM links do not contain personal reader identifiers. If Search Console is configured, the site imports aggregate search metrics on the server.
Hosting and network protection
The hosting provider supplies the server, storage and technical logs. Cloudflare participates in content delivery and protection when a request passes through it, and may process the IP and technical network request data. Log and backup retention also depends on provider settings.
Data protection
Roles restrict access to editorial data. Passwords are stored as hashes and integration secrets in protected storage. HTTPS protects transmission. No method of storage or transmission guarantees absolute security.
Retention
Raw analytics records and temporary security data are cleared according to configured periods; aggregate metrics may remain longer. Content, publication history and audit records have separate retention purposes. Removal from the working database does not mean immediate removal from backups.
Choices and requests
You can change your cookie choice in the footer. Contact the site administration about access, correction or removal of data related to your account or comments. Requests are reviewed under applicable law; identity verification may be needed. Some records may need to remain for security or legal obligations.
External editorial services
If the owner connects AI, the server sends source material, facts and editorial text to the selected provider for preparation and translation. Connected Telegram, Facebook, Threads or Reddit accounts receive prepared posts, permitted images and links to our articles. These server operations do not add reader tracking cookies. Providers process received data under their own policies.
Policy updates
The policy may change as website features change. Its current version is shown on this page. Any future optional browser tracking will be described separately before use. Closing the banner does not give consent.
ZVISTKA Radio
After you press Play, your browser connects directly to the radio station’s server. The station provider receives normal network request data, including your IP address and browser information, under its own policy. ZVISTKA does not record, proxy or store audio. Favourites, volume and the last 10 stations stay locally in your browser, without an advertising profile. An external logo, if configured, is also loaded directly from its server.
