Callas announced the adoption of a new package of sanctions ЄС against ВПК Russia
Today, 12 October, the foreign ministers of the ЄС countries decided to introduce almost 1600 new sanctions against the Russian military-industrial complex.

This was reported by the High Representative Європейського Союзу Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Кая Каллас.
According to her, this is the largest expansion of the ЄС sanctions list since the beginning of the Russian war.
«Європа знову демонструє єдність», wrote the diplomat.
More than half of the new sanctions are related to the chain of production of ballistic missiles.
«Ми суттєво ускладнюємо, сповільнюємо та здорожчуємо виробництво Росією зброї, яку вона використовує для вбивства українців» said Callas.
EU Foreign Ministers just adopted nearly 1,600 new sanctions listings targeting Russia’s military-industrial complex. This is the single largest expansion of our sanctions list since Russia started its war. Europe is again showing a united front. More than half are connected to the production chain for ballistic missiles. We are making it significantly harder, slower and more expensive for Russia to produce the weapons it uses to kill Ukrainians.

Among them are 743 individuals and 826 legal entities. In particular, the Russian military-industrial complex has fallen under the restriction. Also, 77 deputies of the State Duma РФ selected from the occupied territories of Ukraine are proposed to be included in the sanctions list.
