Who has access to the data in the Register

Information in the Register is available only to those who need it for their work and compliance with legal requirements. In particular, gambling organizers have access to it to check whether a person has restrictions on participating in the game.

Such a check occurs, for example, during player authorization on a website or when entering a gambling establishment. Personal data is used to cross-reference information about the player with the data in the Register and is not intended for public access.

What happens to the data

Although the Register is closed to outsiders, an individual can obtain information about themselves. To do this, you need to contact PlayCity at the email address [email protected] with an application signed with a qualified electronic signature (QES). In response, you can receive information about the presence or absence of your own data in the Register.

Data is stored in the Register only for the duration of the restriction. After its completion, personal information is deleted.

Rules and terms of self-restriction

The mechanism operates under clear rules:

• a citizen independently chooses the prohibition period, ranging from 6 months to 3 years;
• relatives or legal representatives of the player can set a pause for a period of up to half a year with the possibility of extension;
• the restriction comes into effect on the next working day after the entry is made by the PlayCity agency or the gambling organizer;
• it is impossible to cancel the application after submission, a strict rule that helps avoid an impulsive return to the game.
