Senator Blumenthal called the agreement with РФ about diesel "плямою на репутації США"
Updated:
Democratic Senator Річард Блюменталь criticized the agreement Дональда Трампа with Володимиром Путіним on diesel fuel and called it "плямою на репутації США". He also warned American companies against buying raw materials
This was reported by the press service of Blumenthal.
He also called the Trump deal an insult to the memory of Ліндсі Грема and "плямою на репутації нашої країни".
The politician stressed: it contradicts the intentions of the Congress in the bipartisan bill on "пекельні санкції" against РФ.
Blumenthal warned.
What we know about the agreement trump and Putin
США President Дональд Трамп 9 October said about "надзвичайно успішну" telephone conversation with Володимиром Путіним. He announced the agreement under which Russia will supply diesel fuel to world markets. After that, the Ministry of Finance США announced a temporary permit to export Russian diesel.
Zelensky criticized the agreements between Trump and Putin. He believes that the Ukrainian team "використовують просто як ширму".
Media wrote: special representatives of Трампа Стів Віткофф and Джаред Кушнер demanded from Ukraine to stop strikes on НПЗ, threatening to deprive Kiev of American intelligence. At the same time, the President of США considered the attacks on oil "нерівноцінними" Russian strikes on Ukrainian energy.
