From the temporarily occupied territories in Ukraine returned 11 Ukrainians
11 citizens who were in temporary occupation returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine. The oldest of them is 96, the youngest is 50.

I told the Commissioner. Верховної Ради України Human Rights Дмитро Лубінець.
Among the evacuees is a man who remained in occupied Luhansk after his wife’s death in 2018. His relatives left for the territory controlled by Ukraine and waited for him, but he did not dare to leave his own home for a long time.
During this time, the man suffered three heart attacks, had problems with blood pressure and movement. Because of his health, he could no longer overcome the road on his own. Now the man is on the territory controlled by Ukraine next to his relatives.
Another story concerns a 96-year-old woman and her son from the temporarily occupied village of Tavriyske in the Kherson region. The man took care of his mother, but in September he suffered from the shelling of Russian invaders. He suffered serious injuries, lost his eye and went to the hospital.
After that, help was needed for both: his son was recovering from injuries, and his elderly mother could not go on the road on her own. 15 October they were able to return to the territory controlled by Ukraine together.
Дмитро Лубінець stressed that during the evacuation it is important to take into account the health of people, their needs and circumstances of loved ones.
According to him, age, illness or injury should not become an obstacle to the return of Ukrainians home. The office of the ombudsman continues to work on the return of citizens from the temporarily occupied territories.
- As part of the initiative Bring Kids Back UA from the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region managed to return four young people.
