Government simplifies confirmation of pensionable service in the absence of a labor book
The Government adopted a decision that will help people confirm their pensionable service in the absence of a labor book or relevant records in it. This was announced by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi. This is especially important for those who lost their documents due to hostilities or occupation.

"First of all, service will be confirmed according to state electronic registers. If there is no such data, the labor book and other documents, the list of which has been expanded, will be taken into account," noted the Head of Government.
If documents are missing or have not been preserved, service can be confirmed by the testimony of at least two witnesses who worked together with the person. The Pension Fund will help find such people.
"For those who once worked at enterprises in temporarily occupied territories or in the combat zone, as well as those whose documents were destroyed as a result of the war, a separate procedure for crediting service is provided. The actions of the Government are aimed at ensuring that people affected by the war do not lose their right to a pension due to the lack of documents," emphasized Serhiy Koretskyi.
