Government simplifies lease of state company property for data centers and telecommunications infrastructure
The government has simplified access to property belonging to state companies for the placement of data centers and telecommunications operator infrastructure. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretskyi.
According to the adopted decision, data centers and telecom operators will be able to lease property of business entities in which the state stake exceeds 50 percent without holding an electronic auction.
The simplified mechanism will operate during martial law and for six months after its completion.
"This decision should help enterprises more promptly relocate and deploy IT infrastructure in the conditions of Russian strikes," noted the Head of Government.
