How the shelling of Western regions will affect the inflow of foreign investment

According to Slovo and Delo, Russian shelling of western regions of Ukraine is unlikely to force foreign companies to wind down existing production, but can lead to the freezing of new large investment projects at least until the summer of 2027.

How the shelling of Western regions will affect the inflow of foreign investment

According to Slovo and Delo, this opinion was expressed in the comment by the economist, founder of the GreenInvest energy investment platform Олександр Бондаренко. Last week, during a massive attack on the west of Ukraine, the German Kromberg & Schubert plant near Lutsk, which produces cable systems for BMW, Volkswagen, Audi and Mercedes-Benz.

The same day in the Volyn region de-energized 370 thousands of subscribers, in Lviv region burned warehouse logistics complex, and this night the blow fell on the production of Ukrainian clothing brand Harvest.

According to Word and Business, Олександр Бондаренко noted the following: «Kromberg & Schubert – великий інвестор, який є частиною екосистеми німецьких виробників автомобілів.

According to Slovo and Dilo, the western regions of Ukraine continue to be relatively more stable for doing industrial business compared to the central and eastern regions.

According to Slovo i Dilo, Lutsk, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Uzhhorod continue to have advantages for the placement of production enterprises, but Russia is improving the means of destruction, in particular the accuracy and range of strikes.

According to Slovo and Delo, we are talking primarily about large investment projects for the Ukrainian market worth 10 million euros, which require long-term planning.
