«Тепер щодо питання, чого не пропадала вода раніше і пропадає зараз. За 4 роки ми втратили 40% персоналу тому, що в нас тариф заморожений, люди позвільнялися. Через заморожені тарифи, через 50% бронювання. Слава Богу, два роки останніх нам дали ці 75%, але назад людину не повернеш», he said.
According to him, now in «Київвдоканалі» one person performs tasks in four. The company lacks locksmiths, power engineers and welders.
The official added that there is a difference whether hypothetically there will be no water in the networks of Kiev or drinking water for the population.
«Різниця в тому, коли ми робимо ремонтні роботи згідно з регламентом, ми надаємо водовоз. Він привозить питну воду. Як буде з подачею води в квартири? Не знаю, от чесно кажу», he said.
Korkutsenko guaranteed that drinking water would be delivered.
He recalled that in 2022 the water supply in Kiev halved. Now the situation has worsened due to a change in the tactics of Russian attacks. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the priority: drainage, not water supply.
After three days without sewers, an epidemic will begin. Especially acute problems will be for the lower floors of apartment buildings.

According to him, the current disappearance of water supply is due to the fact that there is no way to divert the drains, and not with the destroyed objects of the water supply.

Але, підкреслю, з персоналом велика проблема. Вчорашня (розмова відбувалась 9 жовтня) ситуація. Треба було включати резервне живлення. Один електрик чи один енергетик на 5 станцій. Він поїхав на одну станцію робити, потім переїхав на другу. І тут в цей час третя зупиняється від резервного джерела живлення», he said.
