This was reported by eyewitnesses and monitoring Telegram channels.

According to eyewitnesses, after the explosion, the flame reached a height of about 70 meters.

As noted by the monitoring channel «Exilenova+», gas supply to the damaged area was blocked. Grass also caught fire near the accident site. There was no information about the dead or injured.

The causes of the accident, the volume of gas losses and its impact on supply in the message are also not given.

According to the Russian channel «Мash», a breakthrough of high pressure occurred on the main gas pipeline due to a violation of the technological process.

As you know, the «Середня Азія – Центр» gas pipeline belongs to ТОВ «Газпром трансгаз Саратов». This is a system of main gas pipelines that passes through the territories of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Russia. It was built to transport gas from Центральної Азії to Russia.

Since October 2023, a separate route of this system has been used in the reverse direction to supply Russian gas to Uzbekistan through Kazakhstan.

Earlier it became known that Європейський Союз imported a record volume of Russian liquefied natural gas from the Arctic project «Ямал LNG». During the last nine months of 2026, Europe pumped out 12,18 million tons of ЗПГ.

Meanwhile, the attacks of Ukrainian drones on Russian energy facilities in the Arctic have confused Europe. There are fears that further strikes may affect gas supplies and its cost.

In addition, we informed that the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit an oil refinery in the Yamalo-Nenets region, and also struck the Sea Trade Port in Dagestan.

And also attacked Novourengoy gas processing plant, which prepares condensate for transportation.
