In Sumy, as a result of the Russian attack, an apartment building caught fire
In Sumy, as a result of the Russian attack, there was a large-scale fire in an apartment building. Rescuers managed to localize the occupation, and subsequently eliminate the burning cells.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Also, Russian troops hit non-residential premises in Sumy and Roma communities. During the elimination of fires, ДСНС employees were forced to temporarily stop work and leave for a safe place due to the threat of repeated strikes.
According to preliminary information, as a result of the attack, people were not injured.

- Earlier it was reported that during the 18 October as a result of Russian shelling Sumy suffered four people, among them - 11-year-old boy. In the Yampil community, a Russian drone hit the car, injuring a child and two adults.
- Another man turned to doctors after the drone attack on the Sumy community 17 October. Also, as a result of shelling, residential and administrative buildings, transport, power lines and other infrastructure were damaged.
