In the gymnasium of the city of Бердичів Житомирської region in the shelter during the alarm exploded a grenade, which brought 11-year-old student. None of the children and teachers were injured.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Zhytomyr region.
"8 жовтня близько 11 години до поліції надійшло повідомлення про ймовірний вибух в приміщенні гімназії № 17. Ніхто з дітей та педагогів не постраждав. На місці події працювала слідчо-оперативна група Бердичівського районного відділу поліції", according to the report.
It was previously established that 11-year-old student brought with her two training grenades. While in hiding during an air alarm, the girl tried to disassemble one of them, as a result, the grenade exploded.
As of 14:00, none of those present at the gymnasium's facility have contacted the doctors.
The police find out all the circumstances of the event, including the origin of grenades.
