At the same time, the official did not specify which drones were ordered.

Koizumi added that in addition to the drones themselves, Tokyo expects to cooperate with Skyfall not only on interceptors, but also on new ways of conducting combat operations. According to the minister, Ukraine has accumulated more experience than anyone else in the world, and is constantly improving its combat capability.

Separately, the Minister noted a quick feedback cycle, which allows Ukrainian manufacturers to quickly improve the equipment in accordance with the needs of the front. According to him, drones with improved characteristics appear every two to three weeks.

Koizumi stressed that this approach can be useful for the development of the Japanese defense industry and strengthening the country's industrial base. In his opinion, Japan has much to learn in Ukraine regarding the organization of production and the rapid introduction of technological changes.
