Корецький: the government kept preferential tariffs for electricity for the population for the heating season
The Cabinet of Ministers kept the current preferential electricity tariffs for the population for the period of the heating season 2026/27 years.
This was reported by Prime Minister Сергій Корецький in Telegram.
"Слідом за рішенням щодо природного газу Уряд зберіг чинні пільгові тарифи на електроенергію для населення на період опалювального сезону 2026/27. Це рішення ухвалене з урахуванням теперішньої соціально-економічної ситуації в країні", he wrote.
Корецький noted that the decision applies to households with electricity, for which the cost of electricity also remains unchanged.

"На майбутнє Уряд буде працювати над покращенням системи тарифоутворення та запровадженням більш справедливої системи адресної підтримки тим громадянам, які її дійсно потребують", added the Prime Minister.
Earlier it was also reported that the government kept the current preferential gas prices for the population to 31 March. Retail prices for natural gas for the population depend on the supplier. In Kiev, for household consumers, the price of natural gas from 01.01.2023 is 7,99 UAH per cubic meter.
