Президент Емманюель Макрон засудив масові заворушення у Франції, пообіцяв покарати винуватців погромів і допомогти постраждалому бізнесу. Уряд також перевірить причини заворушень.

The French president's main theses from the address are quoted by Le Monde.

Macron accused representatives of ultra-left groups and criminals who joined the riots of uncontrolled violence.

According to him, during the riots, shops were robbed, public institutions and mayors were attacked. In particular, the mayor's office of Limoges and the tourist office in Lyon were set on fire, penetration of the mayor's office of Marseille and the attack on the prefect's residence in Bordeaux.

The President of France supported law enforcement officers, local officials and entrepreneurs who suffered from unrest. He said that the perpetrators should be held accountable for their actions, and those who caused damage should compensate them.

On Monday, the Prime Minister will head the crisis headquarters, which organizes urgent assistance to the affected business.

The President instructed the Minister of Internal Affairs to find out the circumstances of the events and urged the government to check whether the intelligence services and riot forecasting systems worked properly. He also promised to conduct an investigation as soon as possible.

At the same time, Macron stressed that the perpetrators of the pogroms should not be identified with people who peacefully express their demands, and also noted that he understands the concern of the French over the cost of living and the rise in fuel prices associated with the conflict in the Persian Gulf.

The President also said that he would continue international negotiations to provide France with fuel and gas and go to the countries of the region.

Macron also promised to pay attention to the problems of youth and the purchasing power of the population. This week the government plans to hold meetings with students, students, teachers, trade unions, employers and local officials to discuss possible solutions.

The Head of State also called on political parties and public organizations to condemn the violence and contribute to the preservation of peace. On the eve of the presidential elections, which are to take place in about six months, he stressed the importance of democratic dialogue.

To protect cities, public institutions and shops, the prefects, together with the mayors, will be able to introduce the necessary measures, in particular, to prohibit individual meetings.

Recall that 17 October in Paris and other cities of France during nationwide protests there were clashes between demonstrators and law enforcement officers.

Large-scale actions against rising living costs, social inequality and deterioration of public services led to the detention of more than 1200 people. Over 150 police officers were injured, and in Limoges, a fire significantly damaged the historic building of the town hall.

США President Дональд Трамп linked the mass unrest in France to migration processes and urged the Paris authorities to close borders, saying that it was migration policy that created critical problems in the country.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Угорщини Петер Мадяр assured that Budapest is not going to weaken the protection of external borders and will leave the migration policy of the country tough against the background of events in France.
