Energy facilities in Kyiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Rivne, Volyn and Odesa regions were hit. Accidental power outages occurred as a result of the attacks.

The most difficult situation remains in the frontline and border regions with Russia, where Russian troops daily strike at the energy infrastructure. Recovery of damaged facilities is complicated by prolonged air alarms and the threat of repeated shelling.

Despite this, more than 1 million consumers have returned the light during the energy day. Repair work continues in all regions where a safe situation allows.

The Ministry of Energy also recalled that due to network restrictions caused by Russian attacks, hourly power outages schedules operate in certain regions. Power limitation schedules are used for industry and business.

These measures are necessary to stabilize the power system and prevent larger accidents.
