Ministry of Social Policy: Ukraine and Germany discussed support for children and voluntary return of Ukrainians
Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine Denys Ulyutin held a meeting with Federal Minister of Education, Family, Senior Citizens, Women, and Youth of Germany Karin Prien.

This is Ms. Prien's first visit to Ukraine, demonstrating solidarity with Ukraine and the importance of direct dialogue on common challenges and solutions.
One of the areas for further cooperation between Ukraine and Germany could be working with childhood trauma and supporting children who have experienced war and deportation.
Denys Ulyutin said that the Ministry of Social Policy has developed a new social reintegration service for children returning from deportation. The service includes three consecutive stages of support: stabilization in the first three months after return, subsequent adaptation and development over the next six months, and the next stage of reintegration.
Based on the results of the pilot, Ukraine plans to develop a national standard for such a social service and scale it up.
"We want the experience that Ukraine is now accumulating to be useful for other countries as well. At the same time, Germany's experience is extremely important to us, particularly in the field of child protection and violence prevention," the Minister emphasized.
The parties also discussed support for Ukrainians currently in Germany and their voluntary return to Ukraine.
"We see Germany as one of Ukraine's closest partners. Our task is to ensure that this partner support works for the future: helping people get through the consequences of war, return, rebuild their lives, and strengthen communities," Denys Ulyutin emphasized.
