Moldova investigates drone explosion after night attack on Ukraine
On the night against 11 October on the territory of Moldova fell and exploded drone. At the same time, the air surveillance systems of the country did not record unauthorized crossing of the state border.

According to law enforcement officers, the explosion occurred in the forest on the outskirts of the village of Jamena in the Novoanensky district. Local residents also reported a sound similar to the flight of a drone, after which an explosion occurred.
A report of a possible drone crash came to the police about 22:20 10 October. After that, the military and sappers left the scene.
The area around the crash site was surrounded. Experts inspect the found object and establish the circumstances of the incident. According to preliminary data, there are no victims.
The Ministry of Defense of Moldova noted that the analysis of data of national and auxiliary air surveillance systems did not reveal unauthorized penetration into the country's airspace during this period. The reasons for the fall of the drone and its origin are currently being established.
We will remind, 5 October at the checkpoint «Паланка» on the Moldovan-Ukrainian border Russian shell hit the bus. As a result of the incident injured border guard, traffic in the direction of Palanka temporarily blocked.
The work of the checkpoint was resumed in the evening of the same day.
