На Сумщині as a result of Russian shelling for the day injured two civilians. In the Sumy community injured 43-year-old man, and in Stepanovskaya - 36-year-old man suffered an acute reaction to stress.

During the day from morning 10 October to morning 11 October 2026, Russian troops fired over 40 at 27 settlements in 14 territorial communities of Sumy region. Most attacks were recorded in Sumy and Shostka districts.
In the Sumy hromada, an enemy drone hit a car, resulting in an injured 43-year-old man. In the Stepanivska hromada, after the strike, the 36-year-old man suffered an acute reaction to stress.
Russian troops used artillery, mortars, FPV drones, drones and guided aerial bombs.
As a result of shelling damaged and destroyed civilian infrastructure:
- in the Vorozhbyansky hromada - non-residential premises;
- in the Seredino-Budsky hromada - residential buildings and farm buildings;
- in the Hlukhiv hromada - a private residential building, an administrative building, a civil infrastructure facility and a car;
- in Sumy hromada - shop premises and a car;
- in Znob-Novgorod hromada - a private residential building.
Also under attack were Sumy, Stepanivska, Mykolaivska village, Yunakivska, Myropilska, Krasnopilska, Vorozhbyanska, Seredino-Budska, Glukhovska, Esmanska, Svesska, Novoslobodska, Putivlska and Veliky Pyshyarivska communities.
According to ОВА, the air alarm in the area lasted 19 hours 41 minute.
