This was announced by the Minister of Defense Японії Шіндзіро Коїдзумі during the press conference 9 October.

According to him, the Japanese Defense Ministry has already concluded an agreement with Skyfall and is now working to ensure that Ukrainian drones are delivered as soon as possible.

Koizumi stressed that Ukraine has accumulated one of the world’s largest practical experience of applying new technologies in modern warfare.

«Як із погляду розвитку оборонної промисловості, так і з погляду промислової бази, ми вважаємо, що нам є чого повчитися у цьому так званому циклі швидкого зворотного зв’язку, коли кожні 2–3 тижні з’являються дрони з новими характеристиками», said the Minister.

He noted that Japan is interested not only in the purchase of drones, but also in the study of the Ukrainian approach to the rapid adaptation of military technologies to combat conditions.

Компанія Skyfall is known, in particular, for the development of the Ukrainian P1-SUN interceptor drone, which is used to combat enemy drones.

At the same time, Koizumi said that Japan currently does not plan to transfer to Ukraine missiles to Patriot systems produced on Japanese territory.

According to him, Tokyo will continue to support Ukraine with other means, in particular, to transfer bulletproof vests and transport, as well as to take wounded Ukrainian soldiers for treatment.

11 September Zelensky said that Canada will become the first country in America with which Ukraine implements Drone Deal. Ottawa is ready to order large volumes of Ukrainian drones, while 30% of the produced equipment will remain in Ukraine.
