Підтримка Макрона in France fell to a record 15%
The level of positive attitude towards the president Франції Емманюеля Макрона decreased to 15%, which was the worst indicator during his tenure. At the same time, the popularity of the leaders of the ultra-right «Національного об’єднання» Марін Ле Пен and Жордана Барделли also declined.
This is reported by La Tribune Dimanche with reference to the survey Ipsos BVA, conducted jointly with the engineering school Cesi.
According to the results of the study, only 15% of the respondents positively assess Macron’s activities. At the same time, 82% of the respondents have a negative attitude to the work of the president. Thus, the French leader remains unpopular among representatives of almost all political camps in the country.
The drop in support comes amid economic difficulties and domestic political tensions. Among the factors that affect public sentiment are protests of schoolchildren, an increase in the cost of government borrowing, high fuel prices and losses of agriculture due to drought.
According to the deputy general director of Ipsos BVA Бріса Тентюрe, only 11% support among supporters of Macron’s right-wing political forces. At the same time, among voters of the centrist bloc 47% negatively assess the president’s activities.
The survey also showed an increase in citizens’ concern about their own financial situation. About 70% of respondents said they were worried about personal finances. The French are most concerned about purchasing power. Among other important problems, they call the future of the social protection system, public debt and budget deficit.
The decline in positive evaluations also affected representatives «Національного об’єднання». Monthly indicator Марін Ле Пен decreased by four percentage points, and Жордана Барделли - three. Despite the decline, they remain among the politicians whose possible election as President of France would cause the most positive assessments. According to Ipsos BVA, 33The percentage of respondents would be satisfied with Bardella's victory in the presidential election, and 32% – Ле Пен.

Meanwhile, Macron does not rule out that in the future he will again run for the post of head of state after the completion of his second presidential term.
