Портников explained under what conditions can end the hot phase of the war
The hot phase of the war may end if Russia’s losses exceed the benefits of continuing hostilities, so Ukraine needs to continue to inflict painful blows on the enemy.

This was reported by journalist
According to the journalist, the completion of the hot phase of the war depends on the ability of Ukraine to weaken Russian resources so that the continuation of hostilities became unprofitable for the Kremlin.
He warned that without effective defense and tangible blows in response, Ukraine could find itself in a long-term conflict, to which society will have to adapt. In this case, constant shelling, disruptions in electricity and water supply and disruption of urban infrastructure can become part of everyday life.
У цьому сутність людської природи", said the journalist.
Портников also explained that the Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities are aimed at making life in them unbearable and forcing Ukrainians to agree to surrender. In his opinion, since Russia is not achieving decisive success at the front, it is trying to put pressure on the civilian population with attacks on the rear.
He added that it is Ukraine’s ability to defend itself and inflict tangible losses on Russia that can create preconditions for the cessation of intense hostilities.
