President Володимир Зеленський believes that Putin plans to deploy ballistic missiles in Belarus, which will threaten primarily the west of Ukraine. According to him, this is a direct involvement of the country in the war

The president of Володимир Зеленський told reporters during a chat.

Answering the question about the attacks by "шахедами" jets on Rivne and Lutsk, Зеленський confirmed that there is a threat of increased strikes on the western part of the country, and Russia is preparing for this.

"Чи є загроза ударів і збільшення атак на західну частину нашої держави? Безумовно. Чи готується до цього Росія? Я думаю, так."

The President explained why Moscow constantly draws Belarus. According to him, Russia already places repeaters for drones there, but this is not enough for it.

"Нам відомо, що вони розміщують ретранслятори на території Білорусі, щоб користуватися цим коридором для дронів і посилювати відповідні атаки. Але цього їм замало. Їм потрібна підтримка Лукашенка для того, щоб на території Білорусі були розміщені інші види, і балістики в тому числі."

Зеленський stressed that the placement of ballistics there would be a threat primarily to the west of Ukraine. Плани Путіна in this regard, he called obvious.

As for strengthening protection, the President noted that ППО is being increased where there are more strikes. Also, Ukraine will increase the production of turrets, and the military will have to distribute them.

"Для нас дуже важливо збільшувати ППО на всій території нашої держави. Виробництво турелей ми будемо збільшувати, і розподіляти мають наші військові. Де більша загроза, там буде більше захисту."
