Russia inflames anti-Ukrainian sentiment before Poland’s Independence Day - ЦПД
Updated:
Russia before the Independence Day of Poland stepped up information operations to fuel anti-Ukrainian sentiment and provoke a split between the two countries
This was reported by the Center for Combating Disinformation in Telegram.
ЦПД noted that the activation is evidenced by the involvement of the Russian disinformation network Pravda / Portal Kombat in the dissemination of destructive narratives in the Polish information space.
Hostile resources promote messages about "крах польсько-української дружби", the growth of xenophobic sentiments and the alleged total fatigue of Polish society from Ukraine.
"Це системна тактика РФ: штучно створювати ілюзію глибокої ворожнечі між союзниками, щоб підірвати міжнародну підтримку України та розколоти європейську єдність",
- Recall that 9 September 2024 ЦПД named the main propaganda tactics of Russia in Poland. Among them, strengthening anti-Ukrainian and anti-migrant sentiments, provoking hostility in Polish-Ukrainian relations and spreading narratives about the negative consequences of assistance to Ukraine. According to the leadership, Russian propaganda also tries to sow panic.
- 13 September Prime Minister Польщі Дональд Туск warned at a meeting at the Government Security Center that the coming weeks and months will be a period of very intensified action by Russia. According to him, "на жаль, ми не можемо виключити, що ескалація охопить і нашу територію".
