Sanchez has launched a campaign for the early elections in November

During Saturday's rally, Sanchez promised to strengthen legislation to protect tenants from “спекуляцій на ринку нерухомості” if his party wins an absolute majority.

Sanchez chose a symbolic place to start his election campaign - Dos Ermanas, a satellite city of Seville in the south of the country, which is a historical stronghold of the socialists.

Marikarmen won the case in court, however, the appellate judge reversed this decision, and the Supreme Court eventually sided with the owners, the newspaper El Pais.

The government submitted two proposals to parliamentarians, designed to improve the situation with housing policy, but they rejected them. In this regard, the Prime Minister of Педро Санчес, who heads the government with 2018, announced early elections for November.
