The Russians hit a column of civilians during the evacuation from Kupyansk
The Russian military struck a column with civilians who left the vicinity of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region during the so-called evacuation.
The attack was recorded by the Joint Forces Group and reported on Facebook.
Now the military is clarifying the number of victims. In recent weeks, the Russians have several times organized such removals of civilians from Kupyansk.
Earlier, the invaders, according to the Ukrainian side, used civilians as human shields, covering them with the withdrawal of their military. This time, Russian forces struck directly at the column with civilians.
What preceded?
At the end of the September reconnaissance drones 2th Corps НГУ "Хартія" recorded how the Russian military withdrew civilians from Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, hiding behind them. The video showed nine people, including children, elderly people and a man on crutches. Next were men of military age in civilian clothes.
According to "Хартії", people were led through the village of Golubovka to the "Шебелинка – Острогозьк" gas pipeline and brought inside the pipe, which the invaders used to covertly penetrate the stormtroopers into the city. The Ukrainian military did not open fire due to the presence of civilians.
