Ukrainian negotiators continue to contact США, in a few days may agree on a meeting
The Ukrainian negotiating team remains in constant contact with American representatives. In the coming days, a new meeting can be agreed, President Володимир Зеленський said at a briefing in Brussels.
He added that against the background of a new aggravation in relations will be «продовжувати жити і боротися, головне – з гідністю жити». And explained that he asked the partners for additional missiles for ППО systems in case Russia does not adhere to the energy truce.
“My proposal was the following: okay, we are partners, you think that this (diesel deal. - Ed.) you need, although all the analytics say that it does not affect the price, but, nevertheless, now it is not about the causes, but about the consequences. You need it, but they will attack our power system. If there is no ceasefire - give us anti-ballistic missiles, so that I can protect.
The head of state also commented on the words of President США Дональда Трампа that it is easier for him to negotiate with Владімірм Путіним than with Zelensky. Володимир Зеленський said that it is easier for him to negotiate with Trump than with Putin.
He is sure that after the agreement on diesel can weaken gas and bank sanctions against the aggressor, so Ukraine needs to resist this.
