Зеленський about the missile attack on Kiev: There was no warning from partners

«Вчора, на жаль, був удар балістикою по Києву, і щодо цього удару не було попередження від партнерів. Зазвичай таке попередження є, і це дуже вагома річ – допомагає нашому захисту. П’ять балістичних ракет було, і фактично наші Збройні Сили побачили їх уже за кілька секунд до удару. І саме тому ми говоримо нашим партнерам, що їхня співпраця з Україною дає більше захисту життя, дозволяє вберегти більше людей і зупиняти російські вбивства», stated Зеленський.

The head of state stressed that «наші військові та розвідки мають співпрацювати на повному рівні, і з нашої сторони є все необхідне», so the Ukrainian side is counting on «на такий же рівень і від наших партнерів».

Зеленський also commented on the situation regarding negotiations with США in terms of a ceasefire.

«Також ми перебуваємо в постійній комунікації з американською стороною. Команди наші говорять. І треба працювати на мир, треба шукати варіанти правильних дій. Україна готова до зустрічей, Україна підтримала Президента Америки в питанні про енергетичне припинення вогню. Треба, щоб Росія також була в цій домовленості. Наша команда направила американській стороні відповідні пропозиції щодо можливих наступних наших зустрічей, наступних наших розмов», reported Зеленський.

The President added that he is ready to meet in the coming days and «цю пропозицію передав через мою команду Стіву Віткоффу та Джареду Кушнеру».
