Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy did not know about the announcement of an energy truce between Ukraine and Russia, which was stated by US President Donald Trump. At the same time, the Ukrainian leader is ready to agree to such an arrangement if the Russian side observes it
This was reported by Barak Ravid, a journalist for the American publication Axios, on the social network X.
"The truce announcement came as a surprise to me. But if the Russians agree to an energy truce, Ukraine will agree. If President Trump negotiated this with Putin, please let us know when the truce begins, we are ready and will accept it," the journalist quotes Zelenskyy as saying.
