Зеленський: Putin will sit at the negotiating table when Ukraine dominates the sky
The President of Володимир Зеленський said that strengthening the protection of the Ukrainian sky could force Володимира Путіна to sit at the negotiating table. According to him, partners should help Ukraine achieve this advantage.
Зеленський told reporters in Priluki, where he visited the site of the Russian strike on the high-rise building, Interfax-Ukraine writes.
The President stressed that США has the necessary opportunities to strengthen the Ukrainian ППО, and urged to provide them to Ukraine.
"Допоможіть нам захистити небо і домінувати там. І тоді Путін сяде за стіл переговорів", explained Зеленський.
He also noted that Ukraine is working on new ППО packages. Kyiv has already identified countries that have the necessary systems, and is working on their receipt together with the government, МЗС and the Ministry of Defense.
Зеленський called on США to open up Starlink capabilities to Ukraine. He noted that the relevant technologies were already used during the confrontation between Iran and Israel, when Israeli forces, according to him, fully controlled Iranian airspace.
The President also said that China is approaching the creation of an alternative to Starlink, which can transfer to Russia.
