Зеленський: Ukraine ready to stop attacks on Russian НПЗ if Moscow stops attacks on Ukrainian energy
The president of Володимир Зеленський said that Ukraine is ready to stop strikes on Russian oil refineries if Russia stops attacking Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
The head of state said this in his social networks.
"Україна буде готова зупинити удари по російських НПЗ, якщо Росія перестане наносити удари по нашій енергетичній інфраструктурі. Будь-які деескалаційні кроки мають бути взаємними та зі справжніми гарантіями", the head of state said.
However, Russia continues to attack Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure. In particular, search and rescue operations were completed in Zaporizhzhya after the Russian strike, which killed 23 people, including four children.
The President also mentioned the Russian strike on the medical facility in Kharkiv and the attack on the five-story building in Sloviansk, where the entrance was destroyed and people could remain under the rubble.
According to Zelensky, in just a week, Russian troops fired about 1450 guided aerial bombs, 75 missiles of various types and over 1640 strike drones. About 60% of drones were jet.
The President also announced the continuation of coordination with European leaders to strengthen defense support for Ukraine. First of all, we are talking about additional air defense systems and ammunition for combat aviation.
"Реальна причина війни в Європі – Росія, і тільки вона. Вже сьогодні реально зупинити удари по енергетиці, але Путін не хоче цього робити", stated Зеленський.
